Procurement Manager (Hylife Global Food)

Job Purpose/Overview:

• This role has to work closely with project team as a pioneer team to for processed agriculture products.
• Scope of work is to lead the company’s entire sourcing and vendor management function, especially Agriculture business. With recent expanded business, the company is looking to continue their expansion growth and needs someone with a solid foundation in procuring and negotiating for raw materials.
• This role will report directly to the CEO.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with project team in part of procuring, purchasing, overall supplying as well as support for project feasibility study.
• Manage all raw material purchasing activities including the search for new sources of raw material, especially agriculture products.
• Apply sourcing policy, interface with raw material suppliers and entities regarding specifications and budgets , excluding Finished Goods (FG) for trading purposrs.
• Develop and implement strategic plans including raw material procurement strategies, engage in negotiations, manage cost, and ensure alignment of objectives and advantage terms.
• Participate in development of specifications for products and substitute materials.
• Responsible for selecting and approval of raw material suppliers to meet quality standards.
• Need to visit the agriculture field. Build and maintain long-term relationships with raw material suppliers, dealers, and communities.
• Approve purchase orders and organizing & confirming delivery of goods and services.
• Resolve vendor or contractor grievances and claims against suppliers.
• Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
• Prepare raw material procurement report.

Qualifications

• Thai nationality Male/Female, at least 35 years old.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in supply chain management, agriculture, business administration, or related fields.
• Proven minimum 10 year experience of managing supply chain.
• Experience in managing manufacturing processes, productivity, and efficiency measurements & improvement projects especially agriculture business.
• Experience in new business set up will be a plus consideration.
• Well understand of food industry & FMCG business and trend.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
• Good leadership skill, coaching, and decision making.
• Proactive, high curiosity and eager to learn and improve.
• Be able to drive the car and cooperate with raw material suppliers, farmer networks, and communities.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
