Overview:
- Responsible for overseeing the operations of chemical laboratory testing/analysis to ensure efficient execution and compliance with quality systems certified by the company, including GHPs, HACCP, HALAL, and BRC.
- Apply principles of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and ISO/IEC17025 laboratory standard systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the analysis/testing of samples received in the laboratory, such as products, raw materials, and others as requested.
- Responsible for preparing/verifying equipment before use and maintaining laboratory equipment to ensure readiness.
- Responsible for preparing chemicals, glassware, and equipment used for analysis/testing.
- Responsible for receiving samples and assigning Lab Codes.
- Responsible for preparing information and creating report documents of analysis results (Report of Analysis: ROA).
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of equipment, instruments, the laboratory, and the environment consistently.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, majoring in Chemistry or a related field.
- Experience working in a laboratory will be considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of laboratory management principles such as Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and ISO/IEC17025 and the ability to apply them.
- Understanding of quality system standards GHPs, HACCP, Halal, and BRC.
- Knowledge of physical and chemical analysis/testing, including the use of relevant instruments/equipment.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office programs and creating presentations.
- Adequate communication skills in English (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
- Positive work attitude and logical problem-solving skills.
- Good at listening to others and working as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and solve problems on the spot.
- Analytical and systematic problem-solving skills.
