Compensation and Benefits Specialist (Hylife IBC)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compensation Management
    • Design and update salary structures, job grading systems and total rewards strategies.
    • Conduct salary benchmarking and market surveys to ensure competitive pay practices.
    • Support the annual salary review, merit increase and performance bonus process.
    • Analyze compensation data to ensure internal equity and compliance with regulations.
  2. Benefits Administration
    • Manage employee benefits programs such as group insurance, provident fund, wellness programs and other welfare initiatives.
    • Handle benefits vendor relationships and ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
    • Ensure timely communication and administration of benefits programs across all business units.
  3. HR Data & Compliance
    • Maintain and analyze C&B data using HRIS systems and Excel dashboards.
    • Ensure compensation and benefits practices are in line with company policies and local labor laws.
    • Prepare reports for HR and senior management (e.g., cost analysis, turnover, benefit usage trends).
  4. Employee Communication
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee queries related to pay, benefits and rewards.
    • Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding compensation structures and benefits policies.
  5. Support Special Projects
    • Support M&A, restructuring, or new business initiatives with C&B due diligence and integration plans.
    • Assist in the development of flexible benefits or total rewards programs across different business types.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in compensation and benefits or HR analytics, preferably in a group or holding company.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with advanced Excel or HRIS knowledge.
  • Experience in using Tiger HR Openspace (Tiger Soft) system is a plus.
  • Familiarity with salary surveys is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of local labor laws, tax regulations and social security compliance.
  • High attention to detail, data accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
