Position Overview:
This role has to work closely with planning/QC/QA team as a head of core operation team to manage production of dried fruit and vegetable product. Production/Assistant Manager is responsible for the management of production by maximizing existing resources both man powers and machines capacity to achieve efficiency target with standard quality and a safe work environment. The responsibilities include leading continuous improvement in front line as well as developing effective team with high engagement and individual’s direct reports career.
Responsibilities
- Manage the efforts of production staffs to meet daily scheduled production targets with desired quality, and food safety standards
- Set up production procedure and work system which align with company work flow
- Establish day to day area performance standards and goals based on operations goals and strategies; measure. Lead daily production meeting and develop corrective action and report results as appropriate in all areas of responsibility.
- Ensure that the overall production process of work environment is safe, clean and organized. Comply with 5S, GHP/HACCP/BRC
- Evaluate associate’s performance in conjunction with associates’ career goals, create development plans to unleash their potential.
- Proactively manage associate relations issues, guide and direct training, retraining, development and motivation of associates following team working principles.
- Drive Associate engagement through a foundation of teamwork and involvement.
- Daily walk around and monitoring production process and monitoring.
Qualifications
- Thai nationality Male/Female, at least 30 years old
- Bachelor degree or higher in Food Science, Food Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7 years of working experience in food processing and beverage production control, preferably in processed fruit such as dehydrated fruit, dried fruit, freeze dried fruit and functional beverage product is a plus
- Have knowledge or experience working with quality management systems, i.e. Food safety, GHP, HACCP, FSSC22000, BRC, ISO 9001
- If can pass new plant set up experience, is a plus/ Can work in night shift
- Highly proactive, self-driven and self-awareness
- Good teamwork, project management, communication and presentation skill
- Positive thinking and Problem-solving abilities and good coaching skills
